ELA

This week students will continue writing about the pollinators that they researched previously. Students will create detail sentences that support their introduction and focus statement and then develop a conclusion for their pollinator research book. As we approach the end of the week, writing partners will revise and edit their work.

Math

This week we will continue to work on solving story problems. As approach the end of the week, we will begin a unit on measurement using customary and metric units of measure.

Science

This week students will identify and describe mystery sounds and make straw kazoos to explore vibrations and pitch.

"Music In Our Schools"

Our annual "Music In Our Schools" performance will be April 16th. All students will receive a shirt for their performance. 

Interims

Due to school closings, interims were not sent home on Friday. These will go home on Monday, February 10th.
