ELA

This week students will begin writing about the pollinators that they researched last week. Students will create an introduction, focus statement supported with details, and a conclusion for their pollinator research book. As we approach the end of the week, we will begin revising and editing.

Math

This week we will continue to work on three-digit subtraction using base ten blocks, proof drawings,  and number lines. Follow the links below to see some of the strategies we will use in class. Towards the middle of the week we will begin a unit on solving story problems.


Science

This week students will identify and describe mystery sounds. We will also learn about volume and pitch.

"Music In Our Schools"

Our annual "Music In Our Schools" performance will be April 16th. All students will receive a shirt for their performance. Please return the t-shirt order form by February 7th. Extra t-shirt order forms will be sent home to those that have not returned the original form.
