ELA

This week we will continue to read nonfiction text on fossils and learn about the process of fossilization. We will also answer questions using evidence from the text and then write a paragraph about fossils.

Math

This week in math we will continue to work on place value. We will explore the hundreds and determine how many tens make up 100 and carry this over to larger 3 digit numbers. For example, if 10 tens make up 100, then 20 tens make 200.

Social Studies

This week we will learn how people can positively affect the environment through conservation of natural resources. We will also learn how people can negatively affect the environment through air and water pollution.
